Rooted in Memory

Hello, I’m Andrea.

My relationship with roses began in childhood, exhibiting blooms at local shows, captivated by the generational history they carried. In my twenties, I brought home my first antique rose, unaware that a single, resilient bush would lay the foundation for an estate vineyard of heritage Old Roses.

But my path was truly mapped out by the profound intelligence of my own body.

I have lived with vitiligo since I was eight years old, navigating a system shaped by lifelong anaemia. After the profound physical journey of carrying and raising my five children, my body shifted into an entirely new layer of awareness: I developed an intense hypersensitivity to certain types of touch.

For me, the skin, the fascia, and the muscles aren’t abstract concepts. They are an ultra-sensitive radar that feels the world too loudly. When the modern world offered nothing gentle, grounding, or deep enough for my over-stimulated nervous system, I returned to the earth to build what my body required to find peace.

La Evarose is the intersection of this 38-year sensory journey, estate agriculture, and heirloom craft. Our blueprint is uncompromising: by the end of next year, eighty percent of the botanical crops we use will be grown directly on our land by our own hands.

Because we design specifically to calm hyper-reactive tissue and melt deep-seated somatic tension, our process requires an absolute surrender to time. We reject modern, rushed processing entirely. Our standard infusions require an unhurried six to twelve weeks of gentle-heat lipid maceration, paired with a meticulous 192-proof traditional spirit extraction to isolate pure, calming plant resins.

For our most profound somatic formulas, the timeline extends up to thirty weeks.

We allow these batches to mature through changing atmospheric pressures and seasons, ensuring the molecular integration is absolute. Every single variable—from the specific weight of the oil traction to the thermal threshold of the resin folding—is micro-calibrated. I think through every single detail, not for the sake of marketing, but because a hypersensitive body can instantly tell the difference between a rushed product and one born of pure patience.

This same devotion to texture and history extends to our textiles. Timeworn, vintage fabrics are selected for their weathered softness against sensitive skin and given new life as handcrafted pieces. To me, these fabrics are like old roses—they carry the weight, the stories, and the quiet comfort of those who came before us.

Some stories are meant to bloom again. And some bodies are finally meant to find rest
